Bronzeville resident Samuel Mösching has just released his fifth album Ethereal Kinks. The band includes some of Chicago's finest musicians, all well versed in Jazz, Rhythm and Blues.
The Swiss guitarist has been working alongside artists such as Isaiah Collier, Zeshan B and Maggie Brown and has been performing internationally in the U.S., Switzerland, Germany, Ireland, England and Argentina in venues like the Blue Note and the Lincoln Center in NYC, Ravinia, the Chicago Jazz Festival, the Hyde Park Jazz Festival, the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. and Late Night with Stephen Colbert.

In the past few years, Peter has amassed bodies of original recordings in both English and French. As a singer-songwriter, he’s worked with various noteworthy musicians, including Grammy Nominated singer Glenn Lewis, Twista, Tony Toni Tone, Ray-J, and Kardinal Offishall, and producers 40, Nottz Raw, The Vanguards, Charlie’O and Boi1Da, to name a few.

Rapper, singer, and producer Supa Bwe has been active in his hometown of Chicago since the early 2010s. Known to switch from mellow Auto-Tuned crooning to hyper-aggressive barking inspired by screamo, he caught on locally with the group Hurt Everybody and after numerous small-scale solo releases put together his proper debut album, Finally Dead (2017). Since then, he has released an EP, Just Thank You (2019).

Ariel Zetina is a Chicago based artist, focusing in music production, deejaying, and writing. Though her music can be considered techno, she takes inspiration from Chicago house, Belizean punta, and the queer club scene worldwide. These influences can be heard on 2020’s “MUAs at the End of the World” EP (Femme Culture); and “Marsh” (self released); 2019’s “Organism” (Majía); “Shell” (Head Charge); and 2017’s “Cyst” (Boukan Records). Her DJs sets have been worldwide. She is a resident at the legendary house club Smartbar, co runs the party/mix series Rumors, and is on Discwoman’s roster. The music of Dallas Ugly is anything but what the name implies. Libby Weitnauer, Eli Broxham, and Owen Burton’s fusion of pop country and indie-folk rock is heartfelt and intimate. Dallas Ugly’s work incorporates Burton’s unique rolling electric guitar style, Weitnauer’s expert fiddle playing, and the songwriting of all three members. Plain-faced and striking vocals reflect their collective influences of old time, country, and bluegrass music, while their arrangements and songwriting point away to other genres. Dallas Ugly recorded their full length debut album in April of 2021 and is making plans for a release.

Old Joy is the songwriting project of Alex Reindl, a singer/songwriter and battlescarred veteran of the Chicago DIY scene. Alex has been playing in various bands in the city since 2008, including Shiloh (2009-15), Dogs at Large (2017-18), Bloom (2021), Dan Rico (2017-18), Tragic Trip (2015-17) and Sonny Falls (2017-22) and has been performing under the name Old Joy since 2017.
